A little bit about me...
A former therapist and practical idealist, I am passionate about making the world a better place one pixel at a time. I believe UX design is at its best when it's user-centered, research-based, trauma-informed, accessible, and also a little bit fun. ✨🌈

I've worked at agencies and startups, preferring scrappy environments where I can wear multiple hats and collaborate with other smart, kind people. I also enjoy freelancing on interesting side projects, and provide mentoring services for individuals and teams.

Outside of work, you might find me rock climbing, gardening, reading, or snuggling small creatures.

Things I've Written:
• Detailing the process of a website redesign I led for Viget's Pro Bono Program
• Explaining why websites are always a work in progress
• Advice for how to flourish as a new hire
• Reflections on a UX apprenticeship at Viget
• Common advice I give to my mentees at DesignLab
• Not UX Design related, but if you are a rock climbing mom, this Baby Beta blog might be a useful resource!
My inbox is always open. Really. I have been blown away by all the kindness and support I have received from others over the years, and I strongly believe in the importance of paying it forward. I'm currently offering mentorship via DesignLab as well as pro bono individually when I have bandwidth. If you need anything, send me a message on Linkedin or shoot me an email, and let's grab a virtual cup of coffee. ☕
